FAQ

Short answers. The agents themselves are on the archive, not buried in here.

What is One Agent a Day?

A daily publication of one free, working AI agent. Each drop is a prompt, a config, or a small template you can paste into ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Discord, or a script, plus a 30-second demo of a real run.

Is the daily agent actually free?

Yes. The agent published each day is free to read, copy, and use. The prompts are released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. Credit One Agent a Day when you republish one.

How do I run one?

Open the agent page, copy the prompt, and follow the steps. Most agents want a paste of something you already have: a game library, patch notes, meeting notes, a diff, a GitHub profile, or a Discord rule set. The page names which chat apps it was written for.

What gets published each week?

The archive is sorted into twelve shelves: coding and vibe coding, gaming, streaming, productivity, research, marketing, personal finance, learning, fun, dev tools, automation, and social. Each category page has its own introduction and FAQ. Tags and the month archive cut across those shelves.

What is Pro?

Pro is a planned membership at €9 a month: the archive with better search, a look at the next drop the evening before, and occasional agents that do not fit the public mix. It is not open yet. The waitlist does not charge you. The daily public agent stays free either way.

Can I pay you to build an agent?

Yes. Describe the job and the tools it has to live in. Custom builds are quoted between €49–199, depending on whether it is a prompt, a config, or a small working template. The form on the Pro page collects the request. Nothing is charged until we reply with a price.

Do you take sponsors?

Sponsored agents are planned, and they will be labeled as sponsored on the page, in the feed, and in the JSON catalog. A sponsor does not replace the free daily drop.

Can other agents read this site?

Yes. /llms.txt is the short index, /llms-full.txt contains every prompt, /api/agents.json is the catalog, and /api/mcp speaks Model Context Protocol. robots.txt allows common AI crawlers.

How does a new day get published?

Add one Markdown file under content/agents and deploy. The site builds a page, a sitemap entry, a feed item, an API record, and an llms.txt link from that file. No CMS account.
