Plain chatbot
Asking ChatGPT "what could these symptoms be"
- Pick it if
- You want to read about possible causes before the appointment, knowing it can be wrong.
- Pick Say Ahh if
- You want to walk in organised, with dates and questions, and leave the diagnosis to the doctor.
By hand
Writing a list on paper
- Pick it if
- You already have clear dates and two or three points, and paper is easier to hand over.
- Pick Say Ahh if
- Your notes are scattered across weeks and you're not sure which details matter.
Where it falls short
It's not a doctor and it doesn't diagnose, rate how serious something is or suggest treatment. It only reorganises what you write. If something feels urgent, like chest pain, trouble breathing or sudden weakness, call emergency services instead of preparing notes.
