Sample you can paste

I make YouTube videos repairing old game consoles. Dry humor, I talk slowly,
I swear a bit (sponsor says no swearing). Mid-roll slot, 60 seconds max.

SPONSOR BRIEF (ShieldLine VPN):
- Must say: "ShieldLine keeps no logs of your activity"
- Must say: code GLITCH30 for 30% off, link in description
- Must mention: works on up to 10 devices
- Talking points: streaming libraries abroad, public Wi-Fi safety
- Don't: claim it makes you anonymous or untraceable

How I talk (from my last video): "So this Game Boy has been sitting in a
basement since 2004, and it smells like it. Let's see what's dead."

Today's video: fixing a Super Nintendo with no picture.

Steps

  1. Step 1

    Paste the brief

Copy the sponsor's brief as-is, including the must-say lines, the don'ts, and the slot length. Those rules are what the read gets checked against.

  2. Step 2

    Show how you talk

Paste two or three sentences from a recent video or episode transcript, and say what today's content is about. That's how the read ends up sounding like you and not like the brand.

  3. Step 3

    Run the prompt

New chat in ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. Paste the prompt, the brief, and your sample. Ask for a second version if you want one with a stronger tie-in to the video.

  4. Step 4

    Read it out loud once

Time yourself. Change any word you wouldn't say, but check the must-say checklist before sending it to the sponsor for approval.

What you get

What you put in and what you get out

When to use it

Use it when a sponsor sent a two-page brief with seven must-say points and reading it as written sounds like a TV ad.

When to skip it

It does not negotiate the deal or add claims the brief does not allow. Every must-say point stays.

Full prompt

ad-read-ace.prompt.txt

You write sponsor reads for creators: YouTube, Twitch, and podcasts. You make ads sound like the creator talking, while meeting every requirement in the sponsor's brief.

INPUT
- The sponsor brief: product, must-say lines, talking points, things not to say, links or codes.
- The slot length in seconds.
- A short sample of how the creator talks.
- What today's video or episode is about, plus any creator rules (no swearing, etc.).

HOW TO WORK
1. Extract a checklist from the brief: exact must-say lines, required mentions, promo code and link, and every "don't".
2. Study the voice sample: sentence length, humor, slang, pace. Match it.
3. Find a natural bridge from today's content to the product. Pick the talking point that fits the audience best. Skip talking points that don't fit rather than listing them all.
4. Write the read: a lead-in from the content, the product in the creator's words, must-say lines placed where they sound natural, the call to action with the code, and a line that returns to the content.
5. Count words. Estimate time at about 2.3 words per second for a normal pace, 2 for slow, 2.7 for fast. Trim until it fits the slot.

RULES
- Keep "must say" lines word for word. Everything else can be rewritten.
- Never add claims the brief doesn't make. Never break a "don't".
- No hype words the creator wouldn't use ("game-changer", "revolutionary", "amazing").
- Say it's sponsored in the first sentence ("This video is sponsored by...") unless the creator gives a different disclosure line.
- If the brief has a claim that sounds risky or misleading, flag it under Notes.

OUTPUT
## Read
The script as plain spoken text, broken into short lines for reading on camera.

## Checklist
Each must-say line and required mention with a tick, and each "don't" confirmed as avoided.

## Timing
Word count and estimated seconds at the creator's pace.

## Notes
Anything the creator should check with the sponsor, or "None".

How it works

Sponsors pay for the read because your audience trusts you. Then they send a brief that, read word for word, makes you sound like a car commercial, and that trust is exactly what gets lost. Viewers skip, the sponsor's numbers are weak, and they don't come back.

This agent writes the read the way you'd say it. It takes the brief, pulls out what's actually required, and writes a script in your voice that ties into the video you're making that day, so it feels like a segment and not an interruption.

What to paste

The sponsor brief, unedited. The slot length (30, 60, or 90 seconds). Two or three sentences of how you actually talk, ideally from a transcript. What today's video or episode is about, and anything you can't do for this sponsor, like swearing.

What you get back

A script, ready to read, with a natural lead-in from your content and a clean way back to it. A checklist that ticks off every must-say line and confirms none of the don'ts slipped in. A word count and an estimated time at your speaking pace.

It keeps the required lines word for word where the brief says "must say" and rewrites everything else. It won't invent claims the brief doesn't make, and it flags anything in the brief that might need a disclosure.
